Kent Nolting has been named vice presi-
dent of operations of DFS, Inc., Newell, Iowa.
Nolting has more than 24
years of experience in feed
plant management. Most
recently, he has served as a
regional operations manager
Kent overseeing Land O’ Lakes
Nolting Purina Feed, LLC plants in
the southwest region of the
U.S. Throughout his career, he has been
active in feed industry professional develop-
ment activities, and currently chairs the Feed
Science Advisory Board of the Grain Science
and Industry Department at Kansas State
University. As vice president of operations
at DFS, Nolting will be responsible for all op-
erational aspects of feed production, delivery
and grain handling, including financials and
capital planning.
